For true pet lovers, no gift will touch their heart more than one that reminds them of their furry friend.
With that in mind, here are several ideas for personalized gifts that nearly any pet lover would be overjoyed to open this holiday season. Keep in mind that personalized gifts take a little while to produce, so place your orders soon if you want to be sure it's ready in time to unwrap.
• If you have a favorite photo of your pet, then check out the
jewelry line of Tampa resident Jennifer Fernandez.
Sterling silver lockets with everything from cats and dogs to rabbits and birds on the front let people put their own photos inside. Or opt for the open frame lockets so the world can see your pet. Some can even be personalized with a pet's name.
Other items include cuff links, key chains and a belt buckle. Fernandez, who calls her company A Tail of Two, said that for some items she must insert the photos; for others, anyone can do it. If buyers want a photo inserted permanently with a protective glaze, she will do that if they send her the photo.
Most items can be shipped within two to three weeks, she said. The line is available at Inman Park Pet Works, 914A Austin Ave., Atlanta, 404-522-4544, or online at www.atailoftwo.com.
